Geraldine S. Grant

GRANT, Geraldine S. age 83, of Dayton, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John L. Grant; parents, David and Ruia Spurlock; and seven brothers and one sister. She is survived by her sons, Rondal Grant, and Timothy (Rachael) Grant; grandchildren, Sean (Carrie) Grant, John Ross Grant, Amanda (Josh Combs) Grant, and Rayna Paige Grant; great-grandchildren, Sean Rillo-Grant, T.J. and Shelby Jaques, Joshua Dale Combs Jr.; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; other dear family members; and best friend, Rachel Voiles. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Monday, July 13, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Services will be 10 am Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. Interment will follow at Willowview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
