Geraldine R. Downs

Geraldine R. Downs, age 90, of Huber Heights, was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Arnie on July 11, 2024. She was born on February 3, 1934 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Robert & Esther Oxford.

She was an avid crafter, and enjoyed creating and making anything and everything. She was very artistic and created beautiful crafts and works of art. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and a great friend to many. Her love and presence will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her son, Brian Downs & fiance, Tina Kahler; grandson, Zachary Brian Allen Downs; friends and caregivers, Norman & Jeri Byrd.

Family and friends are welcome to gather from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, with the Memorial Service beginning at 11:00am. Geraldine will be laid to rest with Arnie at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
