Geraldine A. Smith

Smith, Geraldine Ann "Gerri", age 63, of West Carrollton, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Gerri was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma.

Gerri is survived by her husband: Raymond Smith, daughters and sons-in-law: Justine (Arthur Jr.) Kangas, Gina (Todd) Reichard, Geraldine (Greg) Kincer, Patrice McIntyre, Jennifer Smith; sons and daughter-in-law: Donald McIntyre Jr., Shawn (Jeanie Bach) Hickey; grandchildren: Tamara, Terisa, Tracey, Nicole, Christopher, Todd, Stephanie, Greg Jr., Adam, Brian, Kyra; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: William Edward & Nora Agnes (McCarthy) Bahler; brother: William Edward Bahler Jr.; and granddaughter: Tara Kangas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Father Chris Coleman Celebrant. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery in Beavercreek. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Heart and Cancer Wellness Foundation of the Miami Valley, envelopes will be provided.
