Gerald T. Rep

Gerald Thomas Rep, age 76 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Soin Medical Center. He was born in Superior, Wisconsin to the late Louis and Elsie Rep.

Jerry was a loving husband and father. He grew up in Superior, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. He served in U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, then in Germany, and retired as a Major from the U.S. Air Force. He worked as an editor for the National Museum of the United States Air Force, and also volunteered there for many years. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Jerry was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Rep.

Jerry will be missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Lynn; daughter, Melissa Rep; brother, Ronald, a retired pilot, and his wife, Phyllis; and their children, Jill (Jim) Warren and Scott Rep of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights.
