Gerald R. Breidenbach

Gerald R. Breidenbach, age 75 of Dayton passed away Friday, January 29, 2010, after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, C. Gerald and Mary E. Breidenbach; brothers, John B., Dennis C., Twins Justice and William Breidenbach; and nephew, Johnny. Gerald is survived by his sister, Dr. Monica Breidenbach and Richard Breidenbach; nieces, Beth, Mary, Jackie, Jennifer, Jill and Michelle; nephew, Vincent; and many other friends and relatives. Gerald served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a chef at Good Samaritan Hospital for 10 years and also worked as a sales rep for Martin Electric/Allphase for the rest of his career. Gerald was an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler during his life. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends Monday, February 1, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH, 45439). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Parish, with Father Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
