Gerald Lee "Jerry" Noland, age 83 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. He was born July 15, 1939 in Dover, Delaware the son of the late Willie and Julia Noland.
Jerry was a retired Vietnam Veteran, who rose from a Private to a Chief Warrant Officer (2) in his 20 year Army career. He was active in the church at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, supporting 7 Ministries. He loved being on his computer, buying (and gifting) gadgets and college sports.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Stuart Elliot Noland and Steven Jerard Noland; sister, Doreen Strong and brother, Willie James Noland Jr.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Brice-Noland; daughter, Sonjia (David Arnett) Noland Bradford; brother, Garfield Noland and friends that were like family, James Scott and Lewis Rhodes.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Dayton National Cemetery with full military honors.
