Gerald P. Neff, age 95 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025. He was born April 21, 1929 in South Webster, Ohio son of the late James and Dora Neff.
Gerald was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a United States Army Veteran who proudly served his Country during the Korean War. Gerald loved being outdoors, camping, woodworking, enjoyed biking, crossword puzzles, and spending time with his family and neighborhood friends. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Georgia Neff; son, James Neff; sisters, Clara Myers and Lella Parsons; brothers, Harry (Dorothy) Neff, Floyd Neff, Chester (Mary) Neff; In-laws, Ralph (Wilma) Gorby and Howard (Juanita) Thacker; and brother-in-law, Bobby (Lilellamai) Baker.
He is survived by his son, David (Melissa) Neff; grandchildren, Marty (Michelle) Neff, Keith (Kim) Neff, Katie Neff; great grandchildren, Zoey Neff, Zayden Neff, Alenia Neff, Nolan Neff, and Lincoln Neff; sister-in-law, Kathy Neff; several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 9:30am-10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
