Gerald Lemp

LEMP, Gerald E, age 84 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2016. He was born in Hamilton to the late Bill and Helen Lemp. Jerry worked for many years at General Motors, where he retired in 1992. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed traveling, boating, remodeling houses, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a kind and compassionate man who will be greatly missed by all who love him.

In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Rickmon and brother, Ernie Lemp.

Gerald leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of 30 years, Shirley Lemp; children, Greg Lemp, Sherry (Butch) Kirchner, and Brian (Robin) Lemp; step-children, Janet Marlow and Sharon (John) Napier; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Millie and Gayle; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel, where the visitation will take place for one hour prior (10am-11am). Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
