Gerald Lee Eby, 57, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at his Residence.
He was born January 3, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Eileen (Shockey) Murphy and the late step-father, Coakley Murphy Jr. and son of the late father, Ralph H. Eby.
Also preceded in death by brothers, Charles and James Eby.
Survived by his loving companion, Melanie A. Mills; two sons, Gerald Lee (Stacy) Eby II and James Eby; daughter, Christina (Jim) Ferris; sister, Sister Judith A. Eby, RSM; brother, Ralph T. Eby. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
