Gerald "Jerry" Mann, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, in Miamisburg at the age of 78. Born on June 30, 1946, in Dayton, Jerry lived a life defined by devotion to his family and a strong work ethic. After graduating from Tecumseh High School, he dedicated 32 years to his career as a pipefitter at Moraine Truck and Bus Plant.
Jerry was a man who wore his heart on his sleeve. He cherished his wife of 35 years, Carol, treating her with unwavering kindness and affection. Their bond was a testament to love and partnership, a beautiful journey marked by shared laughter and support in every endeavor.
Alongside his wife, Jerry is survived by his children, Patrick (Kathy) Mann, Steve Love, and John (Barb) Love. He took immense joy in being a dad and a grandfather, fostering countless memories that will be held close by his many grandchildren and his special niece, Lauren (Rick) Hartley. Jerry is additionally survived by his brothers, Randy (Judy) Mann and Rick (Peggy) Mann.
Jerry was a passionate sports fan. He followed the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State football team with fervor, often sharing his enthusiasm and stories of the game with those around him. During his leisure time, Jerry looked forward to taking annual golf trips with friends, a tradition that brought him immense joy and laughter.
Jerry joins his parents, Lawrence and Virginia Mann, in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and joyful memories that will forever echo in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.
As we celebrate Jerry's life, we remember a man who inspired so many through his kindness and passion for life, embodying a spirit that will continue to shine bright in the memories of family and friends. His warmth and laughter will be deeply missed, but his spirit will always remain a part of our lives.
