Jerry Gibson
Age 60, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Carol Gibson; his parents, Guy & Mildred Gibson; four children, Julie (Bob) Hamilton, Paula (Jon) Olinger, Terri (Pat) Hoover and Robert Bechtolt III; eleven grandchildren, Mackenzie, Triston, Connor, Savannah, Kameron, Michael, Christina, Tammy, Bobby, Cheyenne, Sierra; two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexander; one brother, Larry (Kim) Gibson; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Morris & Sharon Gibson.
He was a U. S. Army Vietnam veteran having served in the 9th Infantry Division Military Police, a member of V. F. W. post # 657, the Millennium Masonic Lodge # 779, and the Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton. He retired in 1992 from General Motors.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, with Rev. Bob Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
