Age 66, formerly of Dayton, of Manistique, MI, passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his father Edmund Trick; brothers Ronald Trick, Christopher Trick, & John Kevin Trick.
Gerald was a city of Dayton Police Officer for 27 years & was a member of FOP Lodge # 44. He was an avid hunter & outdoorsman.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 46 years, Connie; mother Roberta Trick; sons & daughters-in-law Matt & Sherry Trick, Ed & Debi Trick, & Nick & Joan Trick; grandchildren Ben, Ashley, Tyler, Lydia, Gretchen, Connor, & Adam; brothers Tim (Dottie) Trick & Barry Trick (Terry Faust), Doug (Dolly) Trick, Steve Trick, & Bert (Joy) Trick; sister-in-law Sherry Trick; sisters & brothers-in-law Gary & Gerry Maxton, Greg & Nancy Milstead, Terry & Mike Back, Marty Mohr; father in law, Albert Mohr.
Visitation will be held from 3-5pm, Tuesday, Jan. 12 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where services will be held at 5pm on Tuesday. In Lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Wounded Warriors program; 7020 AC Skinner Pkwy, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
