Gerald "Jerry" Crisler was born September 21, 1941 to Charles Crisler and Edwina (Seibert) Crisler in Dayton, Ohio, and passed away October 28, 2018. He was the middle of three children. Preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife, Roberta. Jerry a lifelong Daytonian attended Belmont High School.
Jerry worked at the Holiday Inn, and retired from the Dayton Mall as a custodian. Jerry was an usher at Corpus Christi Church and Our Lady of the Rosary. He was a long time resident of St. Leonard Health Care Center, where he made many friends through the years. Jerry was a very proud and avid Cleveland Browns fan. He will also be remembered for his fondness of donuts, Pepsi, and Sonic hot dogs.
Jerry is survived by a cousin, Ray Thies, and his Our Lady of the Rosary church family, including special friends: Bill Evans and Judy Bogner who, although a Steelers fan, did not begrudge Jerry his Cleveland Browns memorabilia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Our Lady of the Rosary, 40 Notre Dame Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
