Gerald Clifford Brooks, "Jerry," age 51 of Dayton, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021. He was born July 28, 1970 in Dayton, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Lee Brooks; brother, Samuel Newberry; grandparents, Herman and Kathryn Meerhoff; grandfather, Glen (Cleo) Brooks; and grandmother, Velma Laycox.
Jerry is survived by his children, Paige (Jon) Paulsen, Stephenie Workman, Devin (Samantha) Brooks, Aliyah Brooks; mother, Patricia Bundenthal; brothers, Jeff (Shelli) Brooks, John Newberry (Brittnie Sams); step-brother Roy Newberry, Jr; 7 grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Jerry was an avid music lover and Bengals and Ohio State fanatic. He also enjoyed various hobbies such as fishing, racing and restoring classic vehicles and motorcycles. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.
