Gerald Lynn Armstrong "Jerry"

Gerald Lynn Armstrong, "Jerry," age 74 of Waynesville, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 under the care of Hospice of Dayton. He was born April 27, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph and Jeanne Armstrong.
Jerry retired from Outdoor Sports Headquarters after 44 years of employment. After retirement, he worked part time at Menard's and enjoyed every minute. Jerry was an avid duck hunter, and also enjoyed going to NASCAR and NHRA races, boating, and watching The Ohio State University Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys football. He and Barbie also loved vacationing in Marco Island, Florida.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbie; sons, Chris (Stacie) Williams, Brian Williams (Lisa Tipton); grandchildren, Tanner (Kelsey) Williams and Meghan Williams; as well as many, many friends.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Armstrong.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). A Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00 pm.
