Georgia M. (Evans) Napper, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2017.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She
was preceded in death by her parents, Jeane and John DeVault; her beloved son, George; her nephew, Daniel Duerler; her niece, Diana Mercer and sister-in-law, Sandy Mae Napper.
She is survived by her loving husband, James "Jim", her son, Thomas Napper; grandsons, Travis Napper and Michael Mahaney; great-granddaughters, Lucy and Aowyn Mahaney; her sister, F. Charlene (Gavin) Kemmerly; brother, Ronald (Marian) DeVault; sister-in-law, Wanda (Marvin) McLain; brothers-in-law, Ralph Napper, Maurice (Addie Mae) Napper and Rod Napper and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was a long time member of Memorial United Methodist Church of West Carrollton, where she was a member of the Mary Rebekan Circle. Also she was a member of Marco's Papers. She graduated from South High School, Columbus, OH Class of 1953. She went on to get an Associates degree from Sinclair College in Dayton, OH. She retired from the City of West Carrollton after 30 years of service. During her lifetime, she had many interests including her family, photography, ceramics, sewing, scrapbooking, shopping and traveling.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 9:30-11:30 am at Memorial United Methodist Church (26 Locust St., West Carrollton, OH 45449). The service will follow at 11:30 am, with Rev. John A. Guliano officiating. Burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
