Georgia Mae Bowen

Georgia M. Bowen, age 70 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009. She was born August 11, 1939, in Kirk, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bowen; and her parents, Herbert and Imal Dillon. Georgia is survived by her son, Jeff (Valerie) Bowen; grandchildren, Laura (David) Beres, of Columbus, OH, Ryan Bowen, of Dallas, TX, Allison (Joel) Griffiths, of Harrisburg, PA, and Kimberly Bowen, of Xenia, OH; great-granddaughter, Ava Beres; brothers, Watson (Janice) Dillon, of Franklin, OH, Delbert (Ruth) Dillon, of Huber Heights, OH, Jessie (Dora) Dillon, of Dunalow, WV, James (Sandra) Dillon, of Tipp City, OH, and William (Barb) Dillon, of , West Palm Beach, FL; and sister, Redith Pertee, of Dayton, OH. Georgia was a member of Centerville Christian Fellowship Church. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The funeral service will be held Friday, December 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with her son Jeff Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
