COURLAS, Georgia Anna
age 87, of Dayton went home to be with her Lord Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. Georgia was born November 21, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of William and Anna Monfort. She was a loving wife and mother. Georgia was a faithful and devoted pastors wife for over 60 years with the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Peter H. Courlas, Sr.; daughters, Annette (Don) Owens, Harriett McConnell, and Mary (Arnold) McConnell; sons, George (Linda) Courlas, Peter (Edna) Courlas, Jr., David Courlas, and Timothy (Linda) Courlas; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister; 2 brothers; son-in-law, Harley McConnell; and grandson, Daniel McConnell. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Centerville Community Church, 10688 Dayton-Lebanon Pike. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Davids Cemetery. Rev. Keith Sholl will officiate.
