George N. Wittman, age 80 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Friday, July 6, 2018. He was born June 26, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Paul and Mary Wittman.
George served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #286. George was currently employed at Miami Products for the past 46 years. He loved bowling, his beloved dog Sweetie Pie, and had a passion for ballroom dancing with his special friend, Sandy Taulbee. He always had a smile, was full of life and lived it to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Della Wittman.
George will be missed by his loving children, George (Robin) Wittman, Jeffrey Wittman, and Nicole (Billy) Robertson; 6 grandchildren, Dylan, Brad, Jeff, Jonathon, Katie and Cort; great grandson, Carter; brothers, David and Paul Wittman; sister, Ruth (Tom) Goosman and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Monday, July 9, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Burial to follow the services at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
