George W. Moore

August 5, 1943 — March 31, 2012

MOORE, George W., age 68, of Englewood, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 after a valiant fight against Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease.

He graduated from Belmont High School '61. He proudly worked as a grocery broker representative for over 40 years. He was highly regarded in Huber Heights for his many years with the HHABA. He recently enjoyed volunteering for Easter Seals, assisting seniors.

He was born August 5, 1943 in Wheeling, WV to the late George and Delores Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Joseph Moore.

George is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, children, Todd (Bridget) Moore, Craig (Kristen) Moore, Julie (Ken) Jacobs and Nathan (Carla) James. He is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren; Alison, Gabriellia, Caroline, Aidan, Natalie, Presley, Cali, Gwen, George, Thomas and Collin. George is also survived by cousins Coco Young, Ike Moore, and his "other brother" and best friend of 54 years, Robert Neu.

The family sincerely thanks the staff of Englewood Manor, Maria Joseph Care Center and Hospice of Dayton for their loving care.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Englewood.

Immediately following the burial, there will be a celebration of George's life at the Holiday Inn Englewood.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Miami Valley Chapter.
