Grow, George W., age 78, of West Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014. George was born September 10, 1935 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Hershel & Pearl Grow. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from Delco/Moraine with over 20 years of service.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Gail Lainhart and great granddaughter: Rylee Jacobs.
George is survived by his wife of 55 years: Felicia (Harner) Grow; daughters: Lori Burke & Michele Wilz; grandchildren: Tara Seidel, Travis Burke, Kyle Hayes, Jordan Hayes & Carly Bryant; great grandchildren: Zachary Hayes, Caleb Elter, Tristan Seidel & Kellan Raleigh; brothers: Don Lucas & John Wexler; and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Joseph Shihady officiating. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
