George Edward Tidrick, age 76 of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Cocoa, Florida passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at Grandview Hospital. He was born May 13, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Warner and Gert Tidrick.
George was a loving husband and father. He grew up in Florida where he met Deborah in 1968. They married in 1969 and had two daughters, Deborah and Barbara. George and Deborah lived in Cocoa, Florida for 30 years, and recently moved to Dayton to be closer to family. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. During his younger years, George worked as a mechanic, but spent most of his career as a printer. George enjoyed spending time outdoors and working with his hands. He also dedicated a lot of his time volunteering with the ASPCA. George was loved by his family and will be dearly missed by them.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, William Eugene Tidrick; and sisters, Barbara Ann Duchesneau and Nikki Jean Cline.
George will be missed by his loving wife of almost 53 years, Deborah; daughters, Deborah Tidrick and Barbara Shearer; and granddaughter, Karen Shearer.
At George's request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in George's memory to the ASPCA.
