STAMPER, George W. "G.W." age 65 passed away February 27, 2012 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born January 22, 1947 in Lerose, KY to Howard and Virginia Stamper.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Pamela Stamper and father, Howard.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia; daughters, Marsha (Chris) Moss and Karen (Shawn) Herzog; siblings, Faye Price, Howard Ray Stamper, Betty Cramer, Kathy Pittman, Pamela Miller, and Darlene Alsup; grandchildren, Philip Stamas, Corey Stamper, Noah Osborne, Victor Moss, Valerie Moss, Michael Moss, and numerous other dear family members and friends.
G.W. retired from BF Goodrich. He also served with The United States Army for two years in Korea during the Vietnam War.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 2, 2012 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
