George Allen Rankin, age 53, of Trotwood, Ohio, passed away on June 25, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital. George was born October 19, 1969 to the late George and Patricia Rankin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ethan Rankin; his "Beloved", uncle John Rankin, and his nephew Thomas Nelson.
George graduated from Waverly High School in 1988 (Waverly,OH) and attended Miami University. Before his illness, George was a Nickel Inspector at TechMetals. George enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, watching movies/sports, listening to music, and enjoyed reading and learning. George always saw the best in people and loved to encourage everyone to be their best selves.
He is survived by his wife Angela D. (Robinson) Rankin; four children, Adrian Rankin of Cincinnati,OH, Amirra Rankin, Allen Rankin of Trotwood,OH, and LeRae Anthony of Dayton,OH; one grandchild, Leila Perkins; Mother-In-Law, Ruthie Sanford of Dayton, OH, Father-In-Law, Robert Turner of Dayton,OH; three sisters, Pamela (Stacy) Paschal of Eden Prairie,MN, LaVerne Simpson and Denise Rankin of Columbus,OH; three sister-in-laws, Brenda Rankin of Englewood,OH, Charlene Plump (CJ) and Kimberly Norsworthy of Dayton,OH; three Brother-In-Laws, John Robinson (Bernice), Robert Norsworthy, Mark Norsworthy of Dayton,OH; two nieces, Shay Rankin of Chicago, IL and Briana Nelson of Ft. Worth,TX; five nephews, Berek Rankin of Sarasota, FL and Jeremy Rankin of Englewood,OH, Lawrence Rankin, Kevin Rankin, and William Rankin of Columbus,OH; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special friends Travis Mack and Lonnie Rembert.
George will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Power House of Faith Church, 500 Edison Street, Dayton.
