George P. Courlas, age 71, of Centerville went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 2, 2012.
George was born December 13, 1940 in Columbus, OH to the late Rev. Peter H. Sr. & Georgia Anna Courlas.
George made his life's work photography, radio and sales.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Linda Courlas; children, Naomi Gopp, Julia Wilkie, Tabitha Lawver, Debra Traverso, Tim May, Rick May, Kimberly Cranston and Daniel May; 15 grandchildren; 3 "adopted" grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Annette Owens, Harriett McConnell, Mary McConnell, Peter Courlas, David Courlas and Tim Courlas.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 3-5 pm at Faith Alive Ministries (3150 W. Alex-Bell Rd, Dayton, OH 45449). The service will follow at 5 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
