Bradley, George N., age 67, of Troy, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. He was retired from Elm Packaging in Troy after 30 years, where he also served as Chief Delegate for the Graphic Communicators International Union.
He proudly served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, where he was wounded in combat.
A sports enthusiast, he pitched a no-hitter in the Little League World Series and was scouted by the Cincinnati Reds. Instead of pursuing sports, he enlisted in the Marine Corps.
He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes and Kentucky Wildcats.
George was a humble, loving father, a generous and good friend, and had a great sense of humor.
Preceded in death by his parents, Hazel & George "Hardy" Bradley and step-mother Thelma Bradley, all of Vandalia. He is survived by his son George "GeeGee" Bradley & fiance Courtney Bragg of Dayton; daughter Angie & husband Rob Peterson of Mountain Top, PA; 2 grandchildren Marine Sgt. Jacob Blocker of Lakeside, CA and Kaytee Blocker of Mountain Top, PA; 2 great-grandchildren Kara and Dalton Blocker of Lakeside, CA; step-sister Shirley Crabtree of Vandalia; and his beloved Puggle "Snuggles."
