George Joseph Merva Jr., 65, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 17, 1955 to the late George Joseph Sr. and Josephine (Mariana) Merva. He is survived by three brothers, Michael (Merry), John (Laura), David, and two sisters, Mary Ellen (Bill) Kenworthey, and Jean (John) Bulmer.
George graduated from the University of Dayton in 1980 where he earned a BA in Photography. After graduation he remained in Dayton as a self-employed photographer for a number of years. He later obtained a real estate license and operated his own business, A Buyer Broker Realty. He retired at age 62 and spent his retirement years enjoying fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle.
Burial will be private and arrangements are in the care of Newcomer Funeral Home.
