George E. Meier Iii

George "Butch" Meier III, age 69, of Moraine, Ohio, passed away on June 6, 2023. He was born in Dayton Ohio to George Meier Jr. and Barbara Meier. George was preceded in death by his father George Meier Jr.; grandparents George Meier Sr. and Blanche Meier.

George is survived by his mother Barbara Meier; daughters Melissa Bowman and D'aun (Lonnie) Landis; grandchildren Nathan (Destiny) Bowman, Nicholas Bowman, Kyleigh Landis, and MacKenzie Landis; brother Darryl (Tammi) Meier and their son Samuel Meier; special friend Vicki Meier and cousin Sherri Lovin; and other friends and family.

George had a love for painting cars, boating, his motorcycle, and watching Nascar. He had a unique sense of humor and a kind heart.

Family would like to give their sincere appreciation to Darrell Lovin for all his help and support. Darrel was George's lifelong friend and has always been there with him on his journey.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel. Visitation will be held an hour prior to service on Wednesday at 10 AM. George will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville.
