MCDONALD, George Edwin, Sr., 89, of Bellbrook, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011 at home.
He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Gladys McDonald; son George (Letha) McDonald, Jr.; grandchildren Amber, Christopher, Jennifer, Andrea, and Aundrea McDonald; and great grandson Aiden.
He was a veteran in the U.S. Army with service in WWII. George retired from Dayton Progress after 32 years. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM prior to services. Burial will follow services at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
