George Loyd Sr.
LOYD SR. George R., age 86, born in Paoli, IN, resided in Kettering, OH, went to be with the Lord on Friday August 6, 2010.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mella and sister, Eulah.
George is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Esther (Dolly); a loving dad to, Linda (Ron) Miller, Beverly (Joe) Locke, George Russell (Mary) Loyd Jr and David (Karen) Loyd; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren along with extended family and many friends.
He worked at NCR for 28 years and Miller Adams Electric for 20 years. George is a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He is a member of the Fairborn Full Gospel Tabernacle.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 10 at 10:00 AM at Fairborn Full Gospel Tabernacle (2528 National Rd. Fairborn, OH 45324). Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday August 9 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432). If desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley or the Alzheimer Association.
