George Lasanen

LASANEN, George H., age 92, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Allender and Cornelia Lasanen and brother, John. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Betty Lasanen, five sons and their wives, eleven grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren, sister, Darlene Jenkins Lasanen, brother, Sam Lasanen, three sister-in-laws and one brother-in-law. He was a member of Eastern Star, Masonic Lodge past member of St. Luke's United Church and Trinity United Church of Christ (New Lebanon). He retired from NCR after 37 years. A Veteran of WWII and served in the Army Air Force. Family will receive guests Friday, April 2, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Somerford Township Cemertery (London, OH).
