George E. Hicks

George Edward Hicks, age 61, of West Carrollton passed away on September 25, 2024. He was born in Dayton on September 21, 1963 to the late George and Phyllis Hicks. In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his wife, Lesa Bigham-Hicks; sister, Katherine Hicks and his beloved cats, Mucci, Bert, Dora and Ziggy.

He is survived by his daughters, Alaina Hicks, Jessica (Ryan) Moorman; granddaughter, Aleigha Dempsey; sister, Victoria Hicks and nieces, Aubrey Hicks and Ryver Hicks; along with many other family and friends. 

George was very appreciative of all his clients from his work as a plumber that allowed him to support his family. He enjoyed playing pool, having steak dinners with his family and watching movies with his granddaughter. George was known as "Jumping George" to his billiard friends and teammates. He was a great father, grandfather and friend to many and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him. 

A memorial gathering with family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
