George E. Wilson, age 83, of Miamisburg, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 10, 2011.
He was born September 5, 1927 in Williamsburg, KY to the late Ester & Mary Wilson.
He was a veteran of WWII. George was a pastor for 22 years at West Carrollton Church of God.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruth Wilson; sons, Jim (Judy) Wilson and Larry (Lila) Wilson; granddaughters, Ashleigh, Stephanie, and Stacey Wilson; great-grandchildren; Taylor, Blake, Randa, Brittany, and Dustin; sister Allie (Jerry) Shamblin; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439).
Burial will take place in Williamsburg, KY.
