George E. Glisson, age 87 of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 20, 2014. He was born May 13, 1927 in Greenfield, TN to the late Birdie and Roberta Glisson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary E. Glisson; daughter, Mary (Scott) West; granddaughters, Laura and Angel West; cousin, Lucille Branham and family in Florida; 3 brothers-in-law, Joseph (Marlene), Robert (Patricia), David M. Ross, Sr. and James Frazier; 1 sister-in-law, Lilly Frazier; special friends, Rosie and Mark Hollingsworth and many other family and friends.
George was a pattern maker for many industrial shops in the Dayton area including Duriron from where he retired. He was a member of the Pattern Makers Union, Dayton. George was a member of St. Peter's Parish in Huber since 1972. He enjoyed having breakfast at McDonald's with his friends, Ivan and Ralph.
He was so proud and loved his granddaughters more than life itself.
