Day, David, born George David Day on August 30, 1948 in Tennessee, passed away on December 19, 2013 in Dayton, Ohio. David was a United States Army Veteran proudly serving during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his loving family: Jason (Tonya), Christopher, DJ, Sasha, Jason Tyler, Tara, Taylor, Brenda, Clarence, LaVonna, Sharon, Cindy, Cecil, Audrey, Johnny, Paula, James and Lee. Thank you for all your love and acceptance. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
