George Chatterton Jr.

George H. Chatterton Jr., age 78, of Centerville, OH passed away on Tuesday June 11, 2013.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Dorothy Chatterton formerly of Centerville, OH; son, Wesley Chatterton of Dayton, OH; and sister, Donna Lee Ford of Batavia, OH.
George is survived by his children, Chris (Connie) Chatterton Centerville, OH, Rusty (Lori) Chatterton of Kettering, OH, Randy (Terri) Chatterton of Beavercreek, OH, and George III (Rachelle) Chatterton of Escondido, CA; 11 loving grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great-granddaughter; and special friend, Patricia O'Mary.
George was a past president of the Road Knights Car Club and track manager at Kil-Kare Dragway in the early 1960's. He was an initial inductee into the Kil-Kare Dragway Hall of Fame in 2009.
Visitation is Tuesday June 18, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday June 20, 2013 at 2:30pm at David's Cemetery, Kettering, OH.
