George Caupp
June 3, 1932 — October 13, 2012
George D. Caupp, age 80, of Miamisburg, OH passed away Saturday October 13, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Norene Caupp and sister, Tena.
George is survived by his loving and caring wife of 54 years, Eileen Caupp; son, Douglas (Nancy) Caupp of Kettering, daughter, Debi (Rusty) Perdue of Middletown; grandchildren, Brooke (T.J.) Vicroy, Sarah, Alex and Jimmy Caupp; great grandchildren, Abigail and Jack Vicroy; sister, Bonnie (Cliff) Elliott; and brothers, Larry (Dale), Eugene (JoAnn), Donald (Carole), Merlyn (Linda) and Bruce (Gwen).
George touched multiple lives and will be missed by his many extended family and great friends. George loved to humor his loved ones with his many stories and jokes.
He retired from GM after 41 years. George was a member of the Dayton Motorcycle Club, Grand Lake Recreation Club, Bass Landing Association, South Shore Sportsman Club, Eagles, Moose, American Legion and the Greater Dayton Boat Club. He was also an US Army Veteran.
Visitation is Wednesday October 17, 2012 from 5pm to 8pm with funeral service on Thursday October 18, 2012 at 10am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Interment is in Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Lewis Deeter and Bob Haines for their support and Hospice of Dayton for their loving care.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
