BUCHER, George E., age 76, of Dayton, passed away Mon., Jan. 22, 2007 at Kettering Hospital. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary and twin brother John. George is survived by his wife Vesta, to whom he was married 17 years; 7 children; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters Mary and Barbara. He retired from McCall's, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, a member and an an usher at Ascension Church for many years and a member of the American Legion Post 598. Mass of Christian Burial 9 A.M., Sat., Jan. 27, 2007 at Ascension Catholic Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 - 8 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd.
