George G. Brown, age 80, of Miamisburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was born August 22, 1936 in Chicago Heights, IL to the late Jerry & Margarite Brown.
He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Sherman & Helen Shepherd and son-in-law, Randy Hogland.
George is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dianne Brown; children, Larry (Sharon) Brown, Becky (Dave) Neff, Bonnie (Warren) Willits and Lynda Hogland; grandchildren, Michael E. Brown, Mark A. Brown, Brandi M. Hickman, Erika L. Griffin, Brian D. Neff, Matthew L. Rupp, Derrick J. Willits and Meagan E. Willits; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie L. Brown, Aaron M. Brown, Braeden E. Griffin, Alexis R. Brown, Wyatt D. Brown, Rory C. Griffin, Gabby R. Rupp, Case I. Hickman, Connor E. Rupp, Avery M. Neff and Savannah L. Hickman; sister, Carole E. (David) Hiehle; brother-in-law, Jim E. (Freda) Shepherd, and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 31, 2016 from 1-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The memorial service will follow at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to the Mound Science and Energy Museum (1075 Mound Rd, Miamisburg, OH 45342).
