age 77 of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, October 10, 2005 at Miami Valley Hospital. George was born July 11, 1928, the son of George W. and Lettie Branscome. He served our country in the United States Army Air Corps. George was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Dayton, AASR. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Branscome (nee Whitaker); sons, Greg M. and Bryan K. (Sandra) Branscome; sisters, Mary (Roy) Owens, Ann Kelso; and grandchildren, Ross, Andrea, and Aundrea. George was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be given in George's memory to the American Cancer Society.
