George Albert Shepherd
George Albert Shepherd, age 83, of Dayton went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 6, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Emeline; brothers, William and Robert; sisters, Ruby Keller and Doris Mitchell; and grandson, Kelly Stocks.
George is survived by daughters, Sharon, Anna, Pamela, Sheila, and Lori; sons, Charles, David and Harley; special niece, Brenda Kay; many son-in-laws and daughter-in-laws; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth, Raymond, Donald, Larry, and Gary; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
George enjoyed spending time at the boat and playing Euchre. He loved to watch western movies.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 13, 2011 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A memorial service will follow at 7pm.
Donations may be made in George's memory to the charity of one's choice.
