HIGH, George A., 65, of Beavercreek, passed away October 18, 2010. He was born December 25, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of George and Mildred (Hittle) High of Trotwood, Ohio.
George was a retired Engineer from WPAFB, giving 42 years of service. His selfless acts of helping others throughout his life continues through death; as he wanted his body donated as an anatomical gift to the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judith High and niece, Pamala Boyer. He is survived by two sisters, Patricia High of Yellow Springs and Carol High of Dayton; brother, Michael (Donna) High of Williamsburg, Michigan; nieces, Donna (Donald) Hall and Lynda Sagraves, both of Jamestown; nephew, Adam High of Williamsburg, Michigan, along with several great nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
A Memorial Service to celebrate George's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek.
