Geoffrey Clark Valley, 61, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from complications due to Alzheimer's Disease.
Geoffrey was born on March 15, 1959 in Rochester, New York to Vivian and Dr. Richard Valley. He graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in Toledo, Ohio and earned a degree in Geology from Beloit College. He later completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Western Michigan University where he met his wife, Janeth Wilson Valley.
Geoff worked as a sculptor, creating miniature figures for the gaming industry as well as collectibles for multiple companies. He also worked as a picture framer and art installer.
In addition to being an artist, Geoff was a nature lover, photographer, historian, and avid reader, His sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him. He was known for creating a new method for cupcake eating, the sandwich method, which has been widely shared among family and friends.
Geoff is survived by his wife of 30 years and three daughters: Berinna Doggett, Abigail Martin, and Madeleine Valley, all of Washington DC, and their families, as well as three siblings and many lifelong friends. Geoff was overjoyed to be a grandfather to his three grandchildren who knew him as "Boppa" and "The Cookie Monster".
