Genevieve F. Graham

GRAHAM, Genevieve Francis, age 88, peacefully went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Heartland of Centerville after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 18, 1926, in Jackson OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leeford Eugene; her parents Frank and Gladys Waugh and her brothers Roger, Frank, Henry, and Buddy (Stanley) Waugh.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Becky and Henry Bussey of Bellbrook, Debbie and Mike Arnett of Kettering, Karla and John Marlatt of Sugarcreek Township, Cathy and Dave Sharpe of Kettering, Karen and Phil Stubblefield of Fort Worth TX, and Kim and Mike Perdue of Miami Township; grandchildren Jenny (Brian) Dukes, Nikki (Dustin) Koenig, Andy (Elizabeth) Sharpe, Bryan (Lauren) Sharpe, and Amanda Stubblefield; great-grandchildren Nate Dukes, Nova Koenig and Nevin Koenig; brothers Richard Waugh and Larry Dean Waugh; sisters Helen Taylor, Betty Branscomb Shirley Daniels, and Brenda Mullins.

Genevieve was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kettering, serving in the nursery, teaching classes and feeding the youth choir. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the wonderful people at Heartland of Centerville for the great care they gave to our mother. They treated us and her like family and many bonds were formed. We will always appreciate your love and kindness.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, at 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH, on Monday, November 24, 2014. A viewing will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with a service officiated by Minister Randy Snyder immediately following. Genevieve will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
