Genevieve E. Zeh
March 31, 1920 — July 19, 2015
Genevieve E. Zeh, age 95 of Dayton, passed away July 19, 2015 peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born in Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Marie and Joseph Waters. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Theodore Zeh; son David; and siblings: Ellword, Robert, Joseph, and Ruth.
Genevieve is survived by siblings Rose Marie and Bill; sons: Richard (Mary Rita), Don (Barb), Ted (Alan), Tom, Tim (Linda), Jim (Trish); 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, soon to be 28.
Genevieve was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir for 50 years, was a church deacon, and involved in Christian Education. She volunteered at Parkwood Elementary School for several years. Most importantly, Genevieve was a wonderful mom who raised 7 sons.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1541 S Smithville Rd, Dayton, OH. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at David's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the church. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
