Genevieve C. Jones

JONES, Genevieve Catherine age 80 of Dayton, passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at Kettering Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband George L. Jones, her parents and 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Jeffery and wife Kim Jones of Centerville and her daughter Linda Habil of Dayton; grandchildren Tera (Matt) Pettella, Nicholas Jones and Bryan (Heidi) Jones; great granddaughter Genevieve; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Genevieve retired from the state of Ohio Civil Service after many years of service. She was an avid Bingo player. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who know and loved her. A visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH. Interment at Sutton Pemberton Cemetery in Williamsburg, KY along with her beloved husband. In memory of Genevieve, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3797 Summit Glen Dr. G100, Dayton, OH 45449 to which she was an avid supporter.
