Wooten, Geneva, age 87, of Miamisburg, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012. Geneva retired in 1989 from Dayton Power & Light.
Geneva is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie (Mike) Bailey, Jackie (Jim) Keen; sons: Steve Wooten, Ronnie (Jacque) Wooten; grandchildren: Angie, Michelle, Zach, Ciarra, Heather, Holly, Justin, Heather, Jaime & J.R.; 7 great grandchildren; brother: Howard Allen; sisters: Avil Krause & Sylvia (Fred) Schwartz; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Rev. B.L. & Ethel Allen; brothers: Paul, Otha & Albert Allen; sister: Nell Godbey; grandson: Michael Elmore; and special friend: Doc Mullins.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Miami Cemetery, 4379 Old State Route 73 East, Corwin, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the cemetery chapel on Monday morning from 11:00 A.M. until time of graveside service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Geneva. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel.
