Geneva White, age 78, of Dayton, passed away on February 25, 2024. She was born on October 29, 1945 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Moody and Annie Mae Cockrell.
She was very strong in her faith and read her Bible every day. She showed kindness to everyone and was very generous. Geneva was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was true matriarch who took care of everyone, and she will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Fed White; her son, Marvin White; her siblings: Clyde, Howard, Barton, Danny Jo, James, Loyd, Melvin, Thelma, and Leona.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Freddie White and Rickey (Heather) White; grandchildren: Savannah, Sierra, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Ryan, Josh and Noah; great-grandchildren: Lucas, Kaison, Mason, Jamie, Payton, Hailey and Arlin; sisters: Margaret, Gwenna Lee and Lois Ann; and numerous family and friends.
A graveside service will begin at 10:00am on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N Dixie Road, in Tipp City, where she will be laid to rest with Fed.
