Geneva C. Styer, age 104 of Beavercreek, OH, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Elmcroft of Xenia. She was born March 29, 1914 in Champaign County, Ohio to Anthony and Julia (Hobbs) Siders.
Geneva worked in Troy, OH at the Sunshade Company after her first husband Leo passed. She moved to Richwood, OH after marrying her second husband Ralph and helped with farming and animals. Geneva and Ralph also owned multiple properties and she managed them for years in Richwood. She had a love of animals, especially dogs and her collection of stuffed animals as well. Geneva loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Geneva is survived by her nephew, Robert "Bob" F. (Carole) Shoemaker and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Leo Cain and Ralph Styer; two brothers, Herschel and Enos Siders; a sister, Zenobia Shoemaker; two nephews, Jim Shoemaker and Rick Siders; and a niece, Barbara Minnick.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Casstown Cemetery.
