Geneva R. Beckley

BECKLEY, Geneva R., age 82, of Dayton, died Thursday, September 18, 2008. She was born February 20, 1926 in Irvine, Kentucky. Geneva was a member of East Park Church of God and the 25 Year Club of Miami Valley Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and gardening. She is survived by one daughter, Lois Mariscalco of Huber Heights; two sisters, E. Lee Beckley of Dayton and Grace (Omer) Beckley of Kentucky; two brothers, James "Jim" (Beth) Rogers of Centerville and Joe (Peggy) Rogers of Kentucky; special family friends, the Pasley's; numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Beckley; parents, Virgil and Hallie (Shouse) Rogers; two brothers, Conley and Ray Rogers. Visitation will be held Monday, September 22, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Minister J.D. Cash officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Miami Valley Chapter, 3797 Summit Glen Dr, G100, Dayton, OH 45449.
